Onshore Environmental Consultants Pty Ltd is an environmental consultancy with more than 19 years of experience providing professional services that our clients trust and rely on. Onshore Environmental Consultants specialise in undertaking flora and vegetation surveys, vertebrate fauna assessments, native rehabilitation planning and monitoring, developing site specific environmental completion criteria, and all aspects of project approval.

Experience

Our team of botanists have been working together for over 15 years with each of the two Principals, Dr Darren Brearley and Dr Jerome Bull, possessing over 20 years of experience in the industry with more than 275 commissioned projects in the past ten years. We pride ourselves on providing a high standard of personalised service where the Principals are directly involved with field assessment, data handling and reporting of every project commissioned.

Onshore Environmental has developed long-term relationships with our core cliental, based on high standards of personalised service delivered on time and within budget. Our business structure and philosophy provides stability and reliability to clients, and we pride ourselves on maintaining competitive price structures that did not increase during the recent mining boom in Western Australia.

Onshore Environmental services a diverse range of clients throughout Western Australia ranging from private land holders, local and state government agencies, private investment groups and developers, mine exploration companies, and some of the largest mining companies in Australia. We strive to maintain high standards of service irrespective of the project scale.

Our Commitment to Safety

The importance of safety in the workplace forms the cornerstone of our business activities, because we care about our staff and their families. Clients recognise our efforts, and this ongoing commitment to safety is often a key factor in their decision to use Onshore Environmental as a vendor. Our senior staff lead the safety charge and mentor junior staff to maintain a culture of safe work practices and an awareness to look out for each other. We strive for zero incidents or accidents involving our people and the people we work with.

Health Safety and Environment are ingrained in all Onshore Environmental employees. The company operates under a formal Health Safety and Environment Management Plan (HSEMP) that covers all of its employees. The company's policies and procedures are consistently reviewed to ensure that as a team we are continually improving on all aspects of our safety program. Our employees are appropriately trained and certified to analyse the risks associated with their job tasks, and to develop methods to control all risks identified.

Onshore Environmental undertakes thorough planning ahead of all field survey work, including preparation of detailed Field Survey Safety Plans (FSSP) that clearly outline the objectives, methodology, daily work schedules, and emergency response procedures for each job. Our team is experienced working at remote locations and we have an extensive warehouse of field equipment and personnel protective equipment required to complete our regular tasks. All personnel are trained in senior first aid, defensive driving and off-road driving, and have undertaken extensive mine induction programs for a variety of companies.
